A number of tools are available to help cities and counties implement the District-wide Watershed Management Plan:
Volume 2, the Technical Handbook, is a manual for design professionals on sustainable site design and stormwater management practices for land development.
Volume 3, the Pollution Prevention Guidebook,
is a compendium of stormwater pollution prevention practices and
protocols for use by government agencies, businesses and industries,
institutions and the general public.
The Stormwater Quality Site Development Review Tool is a Microsoft
Excel spreadsheet-based tool that is a companion to the Georgia
Stormwater Management Manual. This tool allows both developers and local
government review staff to quickly evaluate the water quality
performance of stormwater management plans for proposed land development
projects.

the District with providing “appropriate standards and methodologies for monitoring water quality”
to be included as part of the District-wide Watershed Management Plan.
This document contains the standards and methodologies for surface water
quality monitoring for communities in District.
