Water Conservation Action No. 10 –
Implement education and public awareness plan.
Public education is critical to achieving public cooperation and support of water conservation goals. The District and each water provider must increase their public information programs.
The District actively works with local governments to increase their public information programs by providing a multitude of Water Use it Wisely and Clean Water Campaign medium. Training workshops, community workshops, brochure development and distribution, television commercials, radio spots and a 30 minute television show are all part of the effort.
